It is our pleasure to announce that OAK Computing and Veterans Emergency Transition Services (VETS) Canada have released a mobile app to help more homeless and at-risk veterans in Canada. This app is compatible for Android smartphones and is available now in the Google Play Store.

VETS Canada is a federally incorporated non-for-profit organization that has a network of volunteers across Canada who seek out and provide homeless veterans with aid and comfort. Entirely volunteer supported and relying solely on donations, VETS Canada strives to ensure that over 90 percent of all donations go directly to assisting homeless and at-risk veterans. They are centralized in Nova Scotia, while gradually expanding across Canada to be able to help more veterans in need.
This is a project very close to our hearts, and we are happy to have helped with this worthy cause. We have built a mobile app allowing VETS Canada to reach and help more homeless veterans throughout Canada. Canadians who download the free app, can locate homeless or at-risk veterans, identify their needs and easily connect with VETS Canada by filling out a simple form on the app. The VETS Canada team will then work with Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC) and support organizations to get the veterans the help the need so that they are no longer homeless.
